Station1 Cafe TT

This day was the festivals of lights Deepavali and also a public holiday to most of us. Received David's text message to have a TT at Station 1 Cafe Taman Mutiara at Cheras around 10pm. mainly was to discuss about the upcoming trip and to decide venue, time and also the date. As usual, members started coming one by one after 10pm.

First to reach was David and me, i had my laptop with me this time as it proves to be convenience when we would be checking for availability of hotels and flights. Both of us went in and got ourselves a nice table but without any power plugs around. Seems like all the tables near to the power plugs were occupied by other laptop users too. The overwhelming laptops must be due to the free Wifi service provided by Station1 Cafe.

My Aspire notebook ^^

We ordered some snacks and drinks while waiting for the others to arrive. Next to arrive would be Wahsok followed with Soon Peng and Stacy. Connected to the wifi with my laptop, we started our discussion. The verdict is to have this happen before the year ends.

Samsung netbook

Then Ej and Kim came to the scene, with Ej too backpacking a netbook with him. Thanks to the tiny gadget, my laptop can be retired as my battery is running low after an hour plus of usage. Netbooks can last for about 7-8hours without hiccups, and it was real handy at such times.

Kim did not come empty handed again, he brought us some souvenirs from his trip to Shenzhen China. This is not our normal typical souvenirs; it was a scale model of Toyota Supra readied with sports stickers and etc. Looks like a racing specs Supra scale model. There were a few variations to choose from though.

That's about all; others are unable to attend for the session. We continued our discussion and came out a conclusion that we will be flying over to Langkawi. A reason for choosing local trip was due to the time constraint and also the flight is affordable. Surfing between Air Asia to MAS Airlines, surprisingly MAS has cheaper flights to Langkawi compared to Air Asia. So do compare both airline prices before deciding which to purchase.

Everything was decided at the end of the day. Soon Peng and Stacy took off earlier as they plan to go to "The Nine Emperor Gods" festival at Ampang. Remaining members stayed at the cafe and continued to have some leisure chats and planning for itineraries too. SP and Stacy rejoined us at about 2am after returning from Ampang, TT lasted till about 3am and we decided to call it a day.

Attended Members: David, Ej, Jason, Kim, Wah, Soon Peng and Stacy

Some random pictures which are quite interesting. xD

Oh ya and the outcome was
:: Langkawi :: November :: 3D2N ::
