Karaoke Session

A few boring chaps get together for a karaoke session since most of us has no plans for the weekend night. Booked for Cheras Selatan GreenBox Karaoke since it is the nearest and has availibility for 7.30pm. Reached just in time and proceed to counter to comfirm our booking. We were given the room number 45, a rather compact room with 3 wired mics that can acommodate around 6-7pax.

First wave comers were Adrian, Jason and Alex aka Simili. Given the paper wrist strap to qualify us to dinner buffet, we started our parade to the F&B corner. So it is pretty much certain that we started our session by listening to latest MTVs which munching on our dinner. Wah and Yip came after a short while followed by David and EJ respectively. Helped themselves with the dinner buffet while earlier ones started warming up by sparring a few songs.

Somewhere along, we got our hands on a jug of free Carlsberg thanks to the DotRed member coupon that Wah bring along. And there goes for a mild drinking session just to make the atmosphere warmer !? Haha.

And the session ends at around 11pm with lists full of songs waiting to be sung. No luck for free extend till midnights as they were fully booked for midnight. Had a TT(Teh Tarik) session at mamak and with that ended our weekend.^^

Broga Hills Saga

It was wee hours in the morning, where the skies are still pitch black and freezing. A really rare scene to see a few of us gathered at such hours for morning hike, all still in sleepy faces gathered at my(Jason) house around 5.45am. And we started out short trip to Broga, a small town that is located at Semenyih. Parked our cars in the palm tree plantations that is just opposite the Rabbit Farm and started our journey up to the hills.

Our pathfinder David, leaded us up the hill path since he was there previously. Due to my unfitness and extra fatness, stopped a few times before determination battled me to keep going till the hill tops. It was already broad daylight when we reached the hilltop and obviously i was the last to reach. xD

Our cameraman Wah aka WahSok started showing off his DLSR and zooming lens, sniping photos all around. The views are breathtaking, it was all worth the tiredness and hardships endured getting up there.

Not long later, the clouds cleared out and sunshine rays started showering the hills. Luckily there are huge bolders there to shield from the hot rays. The hills start to get crowded with more hikers as time passby. We stayed there a little longer and decided to hit down the hills. Hiking up was like taking forever while going down was like a breeze.

Finally reached the earlier palm plantation, this time around. There were small stalls setup offering beverages and fruits to hikers there. All of us were exhausted and went over to a nearby foodcourt for some breakfast.

This time around, early birds that participated are: Adrian, David, Jason, Wah and Yip.

Movie Marathon Mania

The Raya Holidays coupled with the usual weekends making it a four day long holiday. Thus we started to brainstorm for possible activities by coming up with various destinations and plans. Out in the blue, Adrian suggested having a movie marathon and it sounds kinda fun and crazy. Thus we made a few calls and adrian proceed to get the tickets after a few confirmation.

Movies : UP (12.35pm), Where Got Ghost !? (2.25pm) and G-Force (5.30pm)

Grabbed fish head vermicelli at Taman Danau Desa before proceeding to our marathon at MidValley Megamall. The place was crowded as we reached there, luckily we got ourselves seated after a brief wait. Finished our meal and proceed to the first movie UP. To our surprise, we were the first patrons entering the cinema hall. This is the first time we encounter an empty hall, like surprised little kids we started to run around and started taking pictures ^^

Pardon us for the low quality images, they were captured using our handphone thus the quality. Can't expect much since we were not on a photo shooting spree though. After a shortwhile, audiences started to fillup and it is empty hall no more. Movie started right on schedule and let the marathon start!!! First movie finished at around 2.00pm, freshen up at washroom and we're ready for the second shot on 2.25pm. Without delay, we headed for the second movie Where Got Ghost !?. Second movie finished around 4.30pm and one more movie to go. To our surprise, David decided to join in for the third movie. Since there is still some time, we grabbed a quick meal (again!?xD) at McD. Got into the cinema just before movie started, the last movie ended at around 8pm. And there goes our movie marathon, it is a success!!!

Then we went over to Starbucks at The Gardens before returning home. A great thanks to bro David as Starbucks was on his bill. Thanks again ^^

That marks the end of our marathon and we retreated to our home at around 9pm plus.
